Extensive renovations were done to this property to transform a house built as a year-round residence into a modern woodsy cottage for a family of four plus their many guests.  Located on a spectacular Kawartha lake, the existing cottage had low ceilings and lacklustre views.  Reworking the roof created dramatic spaces and connected the cottage to the lake.  The floor plan was rearranged for better flow and larger spaces for family interaction.
